Job Description
Be the driving force behind our software Cloud Coach PSA. You translate strategic directives and customer feedback into a clear product vision, own the roadmap and prioritization for our product line, and ensure alignment between Engineering, Professional Services, and US Go-to-Market teams—from idea to release. You are the central point of contact for our software product, with direct interfaces to all relevant areas.
Your Responsibilities
- Problem Definition & Product Direction: Define problems, success metrics, and solutions. Pre-vet ideas, ensure the team works on the right problems, and validate solutions.
- Roadmap Ownership: Prioritize within the Now/Next/Later framework, weigh all inputs (bugs, features, feedback, data, competitive analysis), and own release timelines and roadmap accuracy.
- Customer Discovery: Validate problems and test solutions through regular conversations. Translate recurring patterns from Customer Success and Support into roadmap input.
- AI & Agentic Product Direction: Shape AI-powered PSA features (problem definition, behavior, guardrails, success metrics) and validate them with customers pre-launch.
- Release Execution & Cross-Functional Partnership: Ensure smooth workflows with the development team, represent the product in standups, and collaborate on release readiness. Monitor usage and regressions post-release and feed insights into the roadmap.
- Market & Competitive Awareness: Track the PSA/Professional Services Automation market (pricing, feature parity, ISV dynamics, Salesforce ecosystem) and identify trends to inform roadmap sequencing.
- Internal PSA Expertise: Serve as the go-to for feature functionality and intent. Coordinate hot-account escalations between Support and the roadmap.
Our Expectations
- Product Management Expertise: Proven track record in B2B SaaS product management—owning direction, prioritization, and execution from problem definition to launch.
- PSA & Project Management Knowledge: Experience with PSA, professional services operations, project management software, or customer success platforms.
- Prototyping & Handoff: Create prototypes (e.g., UI sketches, requirements, positioning) and hand them off to specialists at the right time.
- Salesforce Ecosystem: Familiarity with ISV/AppExchange, Salesforce-native products, platform constraints, AppExchange dynamics, and admin-level knowledge.
- Customer Discovery: Experience with interviews, qualitative synthesis, and data-driven decision-making.
- AI Features: Hands-on experience shaping AI-powered or agentic features (discovery, behavior, guardrails, validation).
- AI Tools & Methodology: Proficient with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, retrieval/prototyping workflows) and a keen interest in how AI transforms product management.
- Fluent English, advanced German.
